Zero Waste Fall Decor Ideas

Lucky for us, it's easy to bring Autumn's natural beauty to our homes. With a season that produces the most beautiful colors we're eager to go all natural with our decor. Here's how we're doing things zero-waste this season.

Fall table setting with an orange and red checkered table cloth, two gold candle sticks with green candles, a glass bottle with dried flowers in it, a cluster of red and orage leaves and pinecones.

A foraged centerpiece -

If you're lucky enough to have access to beautiful nature why not utilize it in your decor rather than buying artificial displays. Things like acorns and pinecones can bring a really nice earthy accent to your space. Put together a table centerpiece with these, some cinnamon sticks and some scrap fabrics or fill up a bowl for a fall entryway statement.

Thrift store finds -

Yes, there are some things that you just can't get from your backyard or local pumpkin patch. Thrifting is an environmentally friendly way to shop for anything and you'd be surprised how much cute decor they have for the fall season. Don't forget to browse through the fabric section, this is a great way to find table cloths or other fall colored fabrics for DIY projects.

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins, and the occasional gourd -

A no brainer if you're trying to say "happy fall" with your decor. Pumpkins are an obvious zero-waste fall option, but we get it, sometimes pumpkin orange can be a bit much. We like to paint ours a variety of neutrals and softer, warm fall tones so they aren't such a loud statement. There are so many fun DIY's for making your pumpkins look more unique, like wrapping them in yarn. Add some cute mini pumpkins to side tables, mantels, shelves, etc.
